The True Secret To Big Traffic

by Andre Thomas on September 6, 2008

You’ve probably read about all sorts of traffic tactics people employ to increase visitors to their website… tactics such as

Optimize your content for search engines

Commenting…

Social networking…

Build a lens in Squidoo

Participating in forums…

Writing articles…

And keeping your blog fresh

And so on.

You did them all and saw nothing. What’s wrong? Is it all a big scam?

They ALL work. Each and everyone of them WILL drive traffic to your website. So what did you do wrong?

Well, what those traffic tips forgot to tell you about is the fact that you need TONS of them for you to actually results.

That means if you do SEO, you’ll need numerous links to be pointing to your website (not just one of two). If you comment, you need to comment on a large number of blogs. If you participate in forums, you have to be a frequent poster. If you write articles, you’ll have to write hundreds of them. And if you create Squidoo lenses, you’ll need to create lots and lots of them too.

That means whatever you do, you can’t see results immediately… and that’s true despite the misleading claims of “how to drive more traffic” courses.

As I always say, momentum is key - not speed. If you write just one article a day, by next year you would have approximately 365 articles. If you do one blog post a day, same thing happens. And Google will love you for updated contents and start sending you some real traffic.

Keep the fire going - don’t let it get too big because it will die out fast.
