Stealth Marketing 101 - Reviews

This is a continuation of my previous post, Stealth Marketing 101 - education. In that post, I talked about how if you hate to sell, educate. When you educate, you sell without really selling.

This is the next step. What if you really don’t know anything? You would be surprised at how many people really have no knowledge to share. If you’re one of those people, listen up. This is easy.

The next stealth marketing I’m going to share is doing reviews. That’s basically giving opinions. You have an opinion right? You’d be surprised how valuable that opinion is. Fact is, we live in an untrusting world. We get scammed, we doubt, we suspect.

Reviews are in short supply around the neighborhood. Or should I say… genuine reviews.

How to do a genuine persuasive review

The missing component of common reviews is this: objections. Every product, no matter how perfect, have flaws. Don’t drum up its benefits and totally leave out its flaws.

There’ll objections poping out in the reader’s minds if you do that. “This is too good to be true“, they’ll think. If you want to more about how introducing objections can increase response, read this post.

Remember I said reviews means opinions? When I said opinions, I mean it. Not the products features and benefits. People might as well read the sales letter if they want that.

Opinions means your experience with the product. And that means a good review is one that includes stories. What made you buy the product? What changed after the purchase? And who do you think it’s great for? Who shouldn’t get it?

That’s called qualifying your prospects, and it almost always mean higher response.

If you do it right, reviews can be the ultimate stealth marketing.

I really like what you are saying. If you don’t like sales than “train” or educate the potential clients so you won’t have to handle any phone calls etc. I believe this will actually work.

    Hey There,
I just happened to come across your post while looking for my site, that is to say my site stealthmarketing101.com. I was wondering what this review was all about, and if it had anything to do with the my product.
Thanks a bunch for taking the time to read this and hopefully respond..

Hi Mark, nope it’s not a review and it has nothing to do with your product. Actually, I wasn’t even aware of your product until I saw your comment. This post is about selling without actually selling, and one of the ways to do that is to do a review.
