I know this is a little late to preaching about new year resolutions but listen up. You’ve got to hear this and do it… cause it will change your life.
It did mine anyways.
Look, before I start I’ve gotta confess this: I’m not a believer of goal setting. Well, not in the traditional kind of way anyway. I read popular goal setting books, did what they said and never saw anything came out of it.
So I stopped.
But what I have to say in this blog… I’ve done it and saw results. It’s going to sound like hocus pocus for you, like it did to me, but believe me, thousands have done it and got some sort of results. So here’s what I want you to do: Just bloody do it!
The Secret
You’ve read The Secret by Rhonda Byrne right? Or at least watched the movie? If you haven’t, go get it now!
So anyway, when people hear of “The Secret”, goal setting isn’t what usually pops into their minds. New age stuff, yoga, hocus pocus, psychic do… You know, like it’s not real. No way it would work. Now, I’m not going into the whole “The Secret” concept and all the stuff the author wants you to do in the book or the video. Buy the book and read it. It’s short.
Here’s what I want you to do.
I want you to flip through the magazine… or surf the internet and look for pictures of things you desire. An Audi R8, an Audemars Piguet watch, a Frederique Constant watch, a Harley Davidson Screaming Eagle bike and a huge 80-people home theater are just some of the things you can find on my “dream things” board.
Cut those pictures out if you find them in a magazine or print it out if you find them on the internet. The bigger the better. The bigger it is, the more detail you’ll notice, the more realistic your mind will thinkĀ it is, the more desire you’ll have for it.
But that’s not all that you can do. If you desire to score a goal in your next soccer game, print out a picture like the one I used in this blog post. If you desire a happier family, one that spend their time together, get a picture of that. If you want to be smarter, print out a large brain.
It needn’t be exactly what you want (though it’s always better if it is), it only needs to be a representative of what you want.
Then buy a large cardboard and paste all those pictures on it. Come up with a name for that cardboard and write that name on its top part. Make it big.
Personally, I don’t use a cardboard. I use a wall. There’s a large wall, about 6X3 m big, that I use to paste pictures of the things I want, no matter how absurd. It’s name? “Dream Things”. Whenever I come across something I want, I paste it on there.
And over the 5 years or so doing it, I’ve lost count of the number of old pictures I replaced with new ones. I just get what I want. Of the hundreds of pictures I’ve replaced on the Family Dream Wall, there’s only two remains on it ever since I started it.
An extremely huge Castle-like mansion. And the Pearly Gates.

Happy New Year, Andre.
I couldn’t exactly remember where I learned the power of visualization. Might be “Think and Grow Rich” I guess. It was 15 years ago when I had my first Rolex using the visualization technique.
I was then involved in direct marketing on commissions and yes, it worked just like how you describe it above. It’s the easiest method of “getting what you want” yet many are still not using the power of their subconscious mind fully
By the way, the Modena 360 is still there…
