How Mark Joyner’s Integration Marketing Can Help Your Marketing

by Andre Thomas on October 9, 2008

I found out about Mark Joyner’s integration marketing back when Mike Filsaime launched traffic fusion. If you haven;t checked it out, you should do it now at www.integrationmarketing.com <- not an affiliate link.

Integration marketing is one of those online course, I think anyone who’s serious about marketing should at least give it a read. It has made me a humble couple hundred bucks extra so far, so I think it can help you out too.

What is Integration marketing?

The basic concept ofintegration marketing is simply “The integration of one marketing process into another.” It’s of course easier said than done.

The basic premise is to exploit under utilized “digital real estates”. Here’s an example.

Let’s say you know of someone who sells a guide to to secure computers. He’s a well known expert and he’s got thousands of buyers everyday. But all he did after someone bought from him is to thank them - just like what most of us is doing.

Now, let’s say you’re selling a spyware remover, wouldn’t it be great if you can sell your product to those proven buyers with their credit card already on their hands? It sure is.

Not only can you can make a ton of sales just by placing your ad in his thank you page, he can also make a ton of commissions extra. It’s the perfect win-win situation.

That’s the basic premise of Integration Marketing. Big companies made their fortunes from these kinds of integration everyday. When you download adobe reader, you’re prompted to download Google toolbar. When you buy a computer from Dell and other brands, they come pre-installed with Windows.

Now, let me clarify at this point. It sounds a lot like upselling, cross-selling and down-selling but to say Integration Marketing are those things would be a big mistake. It’s more than that.

Mark Joyner goes into the details of a formula that predicts whether an integration opportunity would be profitable or not in his free e-book. That alone should compel you to go at least check it out.

Can You Do The Same?

What can you do the achieve the same results? Take a look around at related products and approach the owner with an integration proposal. This idea is new to a lot of people so don’t worry about not being able to find a partner.

Of course, this also applies to those of you with a stream of buyers. Did you make full use of your thank you page?
